Monitoring Packages
Our Bronze Package does not include a cellular backup unit. If there is no active phone line on the premises, a cellular backup unit is required for installation at an additional cost of $5 per month, added to the monitoring rate. In this situation, I highly reamend to consider our Silver Package, which offers additional features at the same overall monthly cost. Even if there is an active phone line on the premises, a cellular backup unit is strongly recommended to ensure continuous system operation and enhanced security.
In the event of enrollment in our Silver, Gold, or Platinum Packages, a cellular backup unit is required and is included in the monthly monitoring fee. Please note that while the monthly service for the cellular backup is included, the cost of the actual cellular backup unit itself is not included and will be billed separately. Cellular Backup Unit Pricing Options. Importance of a Cellular Backup Unit for an Alarm System
Cellular backup units typically range in price from $139 to $199, depending on whether Total Connect is required.If you prefer not to purchase a cellular backup unit outright, a lease option is available. Leasing requires:
- A down payment of 10% of the purchase price
- $14.95 per month, added to the monthly monitoring rate, for a 12-month term
- A buyout fee of an additional 10% of the purchase price at the end of the lease term
Because Alarms4Less maintains a strict no-contract policy,, the leasing agreement is not provided by Alarms4Less. Instead, the lease contract is offered directly through 24/7 Security Services.
Another option available to help reduce upfront costs or eliminate leasing fees, we’re offering a limited number of returned leased cellular units at a 75% discount. All units are fully tested and backed by a three-year performance guarantee. If a unit fails at any time during that period, the full purchase price will be credited toward a new cellular unit—making this a low-risk, high-value option.
